I’m just annoyed by certain people these days. Honestly, I’m disappointed.

I’m getting tired of certain people these days. Some people can just become easily influenced by something, someone, etc. They are forced to believe in something really fucking absurd. Of course, you have the freedom to believe in whatever you want to believe in. I understand that. But people need to stop becoming influenced by stupid ideas and people. No, it doesn’t make you look cool. It just adds another person to a group of idiots. Honestly, fuck what all these idiots believe in. Believe in yourself. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! 

That’s all. My rant is done.

I feel that within the field of searching for “The One” or the love of your life, people get hurt because of some type of cycle or domino effect. I know that most of you know what I mean by a cycle and a domino effect. 

Anyways, these days I see people get hurt because of this “cycle” or “domino effect.” What do i mean by this? Allow me to break it down for you.

Let’s say there is female#1. She gets treated badly by a male. The actions and character of this male provokes female#1 to think differently about any other guy she meets. This happens simply because of that first guy.

Now lets say we have male#1. He likes female#1. He tries to talk to her but because of her experiences, she thinks differently of males. She doesn’t give any chance to male#1. Now because of female#1’s actions, male#1 thinks differently about females and begins to act different towards them. 

Do you see the cycle or domino effect?! 

female#1 gets treated like crap by a guy —-> male#1 gets treated like crap by female#1 because of that first guy. —-> male#1 acts different towards females. 

I’m not really good at explaining shit, but I hope you kinda get the idea. I just realize that some people get hurt when stepping into some cycle or domino effect. I know there are people in this world who wouldn’t change because of someone else’s actions, but that is a select few. 

To those who are searching for love and/or “The One,” just be careful. Don’t get hurt. Don’t get caught in the cycle or domino effect. 

To me, 2011 was a year full of ups and downs. Pretty much “same shit, different year,” but we got through it. 

First off, I want to thank the Almighty God for another year of life. I want to thank him for blessing me with the wonderful people that I call my family. I thank him for my amazing parents who have cared for me ever since I came out the womb. I thank him for my older brothers Jay and Chris. They always give me the confidence to be myself and just enjoy life. And my younger siblings, Leo and Valerie from my dads side, I thank God for them because I get the chance to teach them about life and have them prepared for the future. I thank God for the rest of my family here in New York, in Florida, and in Mexico. I love them all. 

Onto my friends, the people that I call “The Crew.” These friends of mine are like family to me. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for making this year a beautiful thing and a joyous occasion. Without them, I don’t know how in the hell my high school years would have ended up. That’s the impact they had on my life. 

In 2011, I was able to take another large step forward in life. I graduated high school with honors. At the same time, my younger siblings took steps forward as well. My little brother graduated Kindergarten and my little step-sister graduated elementary school. They have grown up so fast. I am blessed to be able to witness their growth through my own eyes. It’s incredible. 

Of course, right after graduating high school, one must go to college. So this year, I took another step forward. My first semester of college was pretty good. Got to meet new people and bond with them. There is a select few of them that I really care about, but that’s a whole other story. I did a pretty good job for my first semester. So far, I have a 3.7 GPA, not too shabby at all. 

Overall, I can say that I have had a blast throughout this eventful 2011. There were a lot of moments that I can cherish for a long time. Though 2011 was a blast, we have lost some great people this year. So I hope that despite losing these great individuals, we will go into 2012 with their spirits in our hearts. Rest in Peace to those that we have lost, especially a great middle school classmate of mine, Kenneth. We miss you buddy. 

For 2012, I feel like the most important thing to do in order to have a great year is to just be yourself. Also, to do whatever you want without any regrets. But that doesn’t mean you can just go out and do some outlandish shit…lol. Don’t get into trouble!! Just have fun!! Live life to the damn fullest!! We only live once…and no, Drake didn’t inspire me with that YOLO shit, I inspired him. Haha. But seriously, enjoy life ladies and gentlemen, however you do so! 

Anyways, I do hope that everyone that gets the opportunity to read this has a great night this evening. Stay safe! Drink responsibly! I’m not trying to sound like a fucking liquor commercial, but you know what I’m getting at!! Enjoy yourself, just safely. Everyone have a great night and an awesome 2012. God bless!!
